How to request deletion of your data from Imara Logic

Important: This action is permanent

Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please review this page carefully before proceeding.

Overview

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, GDPR (for EU users), and Meta's Platform Data Deletion requirements, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data from our platform.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove:

  • Account Information: Your name, email, phone number, business details
  • Message History: All messages sent and received through our platform
  • Customer Data: Contact information of your customers stored in our system
  • Product Catalog: Your product listings and inventory data
  • Meta Integration Data: Facebook/Instagram tokens, WhatsApp credentials

How to Request Data Deletion

Email Request

Send an email from your registered account email to:

privacy@imaralogic.co.ke

Subject: Data Deletion Request

Include in your email:

  • Your full name
  • Your registered email address
  • Your business name (if applicable)
  • Confirmation statement: "I understand this action is permanent"

Deletion Process Timeline

Within 24 Hours

We acknowledge receipt of your deletion request via email

Within 7 Days

Active data is permanently deleted from our production systems

Within 90 Days

Data is removed from all backup systems. Confirmation email sent.

Meta Platform Data

To remove Imara Logic's access to your Meta accounts:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations
  2. Find "Imara Logic" in the list
  3. Click "Remove" or "Revoke Access"
  4. Confirm the action
